Yes, Titanfall comes out next week and looking through the posts this week, I’m clearly excited for that. Preparing to die again and all that amid the virtual ass kicking therein that awaits.
A few of my favorite little bits from the adorably endearing Buddy Up trailer for Lego: The Hobbit. I love those Lego games, they’re like a distilled form of childhood pressed hard enough to a disc.
The Oculus is a downright sexy piece of future technology, but it won’t be going anywhere without a few solid, interesting games to help get it off the ground early on. Enter Darknet, which is shaping up to be a cyberpunk wet dream aimed directly for the face. Literally.
Having, until recently, split my time primarily between my console and older PC, I wouldn’t initially discounted the Oculus Rift and it’s games as merely flavorful add-ons. That was until the new PC died, giving me incentive to build a newer, better machine that can now actually use a Rift.
And with games like this, it looks like an interesting future ahead worth planning on.
